[dt. »Scheibenwächter«], Kopierschutzverfahren für CDs. Es verwendet eine verschlüsselte Datei, die nur mithilfe einer weiteren Datei der CD dekodiert werden kann. Die Entschlüsselungsdatei lässt sich mit normalen Mitteln nicht kopieren.
 
Ein ähnliches Verfahren für Disketten existiert unter der fast identischen Bezeichnung Disk Guard.
